Shortcut keys help provide an easier and usually quicker method of navigating and using computer software programs. Shortcut keys are commonly accessed by using the Alt (on IBM compatible computers), command key (on Apple computers), Ctrl, or Shift in conjunction with a single letter.
Following are the PC Basic Shortcut keys..
Ctrl+A -> Select all text
Ctrl+X -> Cut selected item
F1 -> Help in windows program
Ctrl+V-> Paste
Ctrl+p -> Print the current page or document
Alt+F -> File menu option in current program
Home -> Starting of current line
Ctrl+Home -> Move to starting of document
End -> Move to end of document
Shift+Home -> Highlight from current position to starting of line
Shift+End -> Highlight from current position to end of line
Ctrl+Left -> Arrow one word to the left
Ctrl+Right -> Arrow one word to the right
